VETERAN'S AND WOMEN'S LAND ARMY & TIMBER CORPS BADGES

Four years ago the Labour Government introduced the HM Armed Forces Veterans Badge as a small token of thanks for the contribution and achievements of all our veterans.

In this time eligibility for the badge has been rolled-out to everyone who has served in the armed forces at any time and to the Woman's Land Army.  Since the badges have been instituted, over 400 veterans have received their badges at events organised by Des Browne in Kilmarnock and Loudoun.

If you know of a local war hero or you have served in the armed forces get in touch with the Parliamentary Advice Centre for information on receiving the Veteran's Badge or Women's Land Army and Timber Corps Badge. Alternatively complete the online form here and we will send you all the relevant information.

You can also find more information from the MOD website.
